JLL has expanded its team with five brokers based in Omaha, the brokerage firm announced this week.

The move strengthens JLL’s position in the Midwest and helps serve clients across different real estate sectors, officials said in a news release.

The new brokers offer diverse expertise across office, multifamily, retail, industrial and corporate services. They are:

  • Eric Rose, managing director
  • Johnny Dorn, managing director
  • Erick Tjarks, senior vice president
  • Mark Palmer, senior vice president
  • Tanner Borchardt, senior vice president

Marcus Pitts, senior managing director at JLL in Des Moines, said the addition of the brokers in Omaha broadens JLL’s ability to serve clients in both states.

“This expansion allows us to offer more comprehensive solutions and deeper market insights to our growing client base in the region,” he said in the release.

JLL took over the Omaha market from the firm’s Denver office in 2022, which Pitts talked about in an interview with the Business Record in July 2024, where he said adding team members helps JLL maintain its specialized focus with teams focused on either just retail, industrial or office.

Regional Market Director JC Pelusi said the addition of brokers in Omaha “aligns perfectly with our regional growth strategy.”

“By expanding our Iowa/Nebraska team’s reach into Omaha, we’re creating a powerhouse of talent that can address the diverse real estate needs of our clients across multiple states,” Pelusi said in the release.
