Joining other banks, Bank of America gets rid of monthly fee
Following suit of other big banks, Bank of America Corp. decided to ax its $5 monthly fee that it would have started charging customers next year.
SunTrust Bank Inc. and Regions Financial Corp both announced they will nix their monthly fees earlier this week. The banking industry’s about-face comes amid increasing public anger over higher fees.
