June house sales up from May, down from 2010
Home sales in Greater Des Moines in June were up from May, but down from a year ago, according to the Des Moines Area Association of Realtors.
There were 841 contracts closed in June, compared with 731 in May and 1,015 in June 2010. The median sale price of $160,000 was up from both comparison months.
