KDSM is the Central Iowa market’s Fox affiliate. The announcement appears to signal that WHO, which is owned by Tribune, would become part of Sinclair. In a move related to the Sinclair-Tribune acquisition, Meredith Corp. of Des Moines has announced that it will purchase KPLR of St. Louis.
