Presidential historian and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Doris Kearns Goodwin will speak at the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s 124th Annual Dinner on Jan. 15. Her best-selling book, “Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln,” provided the inspiration for Steven Spielberg’s current blockbuster film about Lincoln.
