Knapp to receive Bravo Award

Bravo Greater Des Moines has announced that William C. Knapp will be presented the Bravo Award during the organization’s seventh annual Awards Gala on Feb. 4 at Hy-Vee Hall. Knapp’s “record of support for the arts in Central Iowa is as strong as his philanthropy overall,” said Suku Radia, president of the Bravo Greater Des Moines board. The Bravo Award recognizes a company, individual or family that has made a significant contribution to arts and culture in Greater Des Moines. The annual Awards Gala celebrates the honoree as well as the community’s arts, cultural and heritage organizations and programs.
