The University of Iowa has named Amy Kristof-Brown interim dean of the Tippie College of Business effective March 1, pending Board of Regents approval. She is senior associate dean and Henry B. Tippie Research Professor in Management for the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business. Kristof-Brown joined the college in 1997. She has a doctorate in organizational behavior and human resource management from the University of Maryland. She was Tippie’s department executive officer of the Department of Management
& Entrepreneurship in 2013-17, then became senior associate dean. Provost Montserrat Fuentes also announced that Amy Colbert, professor and department executive officer of management and entrepreneurship in the Tippie College of Business, and Alec Scranton, professor and dean of the College of Engineering, will serve as co-chairs of the search committee for a new dean.
