Kum & Go going strong in Arkansas

Kum & Go LC said today that it will invest $70 million to $80 million in the next five years in Central Arkansas. In the next two months, the West Des Moines-based convenience store chain plans to break ground on three new stores in North Little Rock, Little Rock and Cabot. Kum & Go said it will create about 150 new jobs in the area by the end of 2012; it currently has 25 locations in Arkansas and employs more than 260 people in eight counties.
