Lane named CEO of Children & Families of Iowa

Children & Families of Iowa recently announced that it has named Janice Lane as its new CEO. Lane, who has been chief operations officer of the nonprofit forthe past eight years, advanced to the position on March 1, following the retirement of former CEO Gloria Gray. Lane brings years of experience in the human services field and currently holds licenses for licensed master social worker and internationally certified alcohol and drug counselor. She also serves on a number of community and state social services committees. She has a master’s degree in rehabilitative counseling from the University of Iowa and worked at Broadlawns Medical Center before joining CFI as the program supervisor for Cornerstone Recovery, a substance abuse and mental health program for teens, in 1998. As CEO, Lane will oversee more than 300 employees statewide and a $16.8 million operating budget.
