Leath named to NCAA board
Iowa State University President Steven Leath has been named to the Division I board of directors of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. He will represent the Big 12 Conference in a four-year term that begins June 1. The NCAA governs athletic programs for 350 colleges with 6,000 teams involving more than 170,000 athletes. Iowa State, Iowa’s largest university, is home of the Cyclones.
