Leath proposes two-tiered tuition plan at ISU
Iowa State University President Steven Leath has proposed a tuition plan that would charge first- and second-year students less than juniors and seniors, The Des Moines Register reported. “It’s a straightforward approach,” Leath said Wednesday during his 2016 presidential address. “It’s a manageable approach, a reasonable approach that reflects the higher costs associated with more advanced and increasingly specialized coursework, learning opportunities, personalized instruction, smaller classes that you get as you proceed through your undergraduate education.”
