Des Moines-based ARAG Insurance Co., a provider of legal insurance, has been certified as a Center of Excellence for the fourth consecutive year by Purdue University’s Center for Customer-Driven Quality in conjunction with BenchmarkPortal, a national benchmarking firm for the call center industry, ARAG said in a news release. BenchmarkPortal evaluates contact centers across a variety of industries on their ability to exceed statistical standards in comparison to their industry peers. ARAG was earlier named a best place to work in insurance by Business Insurance magazine. The company has an international premium base of almost $2 billion and provides legal insurance for more than 15.5 million individuals and their families.
