The IBM system will watch for threats and will act as the rescue squad if there is trouble at LightEdge data centers, which service clients with cloud solutions and network integration. LightEdge will retain its own security staff for basic operational security. Masterson also said LightEdge will add a data center on 90 acres that will be as big as the two Altoona data centers combined. Construction on the second Altoona center will begin in June; the Omaha facility will be constructed starting next year. A fourth data center is in Kansas City.
