Linda Railsback honored at Women Helping Women luncheon
More than 500 people attended the 17th annual Women Helping Women luncheon on April 10, hosted by the Des Moines Pastoral Counseling Center. Together, the group came together to honor Dr. Linda Railsback for her commitment to providing and protecting women’s healthcare throughout her career. Roxanne Conlin, a former Iowa assistant attorney general and U.S. attorney, was the keynote speaker. Since 1999, Women Helping Women has raised more $570,000 to subsidize counseling for women and girls with limited resources who are struggling with the challenges of life.
