Greater Des Moines foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans was 0.92 percent for August, a drop of 0.2 percentage points from August 2014, real estate research firm CoreLogic Inc. said in a news release. Foreclosure activity in was lower than the national foreclosure rate of 1.25 percent in August. The mortgage delinquency rate also decreased in Greater Des Moines, with 2.3 percent of mortgages 90 days or more delinquent compared with 2.9 percent for the same period last year.
