Larson was instrumental in expanding the company, which began operations in 1992, into one of the Midwest’s leading CPA, business advisory and M&A firms, with more than 50 employees.
“Tom was a true friend, valued partner and mentor to many — both inside and outside the firm,” said Managing Partner Paul Juffer. “He truly gave his all to our company and will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.”
Larson was a member and past president of the West Des Moines Rotary, board member for the Easter Seals Iowa Foundation and member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was also a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir. He graduated from the University of Iowa and bled black and gold for Hawkeye sports.
