Meals from the Heartland hosts 18th annual Hunger Fight

Meals from the Heartland has announced its upcoming annual Hunger Fight, taking place Oct. 7-11 at its West Des Moines packaging center where volunteers will package meals to help feed children and families in Iowa and around the world. The event aims to recruit 4,000 volunteers and package 2 million meals, which would provide food for 7,700 children for a year. Volunteers of all ages and group sizes are welcome.
