Meet and greet set with DART general manager finalists
The public is invited to a “meet and greet” this afternoon with the finalists chosen to compete for the general manager position of the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART). Five or six finalists chosen from more than 100 candidates for the position will be named at the meeting, to be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Des Moines Central Library, 1000 Grand Ave. The DART Commission said it hopes to be able to announce its selection of a new general manager by early July.
