Mercy College of Health Sciences has welcomed its new president, Adreain Henry, to campus and is inviting the community to meet him at a lunch event on Wednesday, July 13. The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host an Out to Lunch event with local food trucks available from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Crocker Street parking lot, 701 Crocker St., at the downtown campus. Henry, a Mississippi native, comes to Mercy College from San Antonio, Texas, where he was the chief academic officer and associate provost at Hallmark University. He was appointed the fourth president of Mercy College in April following an extensive national search. Mercy College of Health Sciences is the only private Catholic college in Central Iowa and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. More details about the Out to Lunch Series can be found on the Partnership’s website.
