Mercy remains in cancer network
Mercy Medical Center will continue its participation in the Community Cancer Centers Program, the National Cancer Institute announced today.
The program aims to expand cancer treatment and research initiatives across the country and help rural and underserved areas increase care.
Mercy joined the network in 2010 and is the only Iowa center involved in the group.
