MercyOne House of Mercy Game Show Gala raises $502,055
The 2019 MercyOne House of Mercy Game Show Gala raised a record-breaking $502,055, a more than 40% increase in revenue from the 2018 event, the MercyOne Des Moines Foundation announced. Four teams of six played through three rounds of games, including Family Feud, in front of more than 750 attendees, including 338 contributors and sponsors. Attendees could donate in advance to the four teams representing a House of Mercy client in the areas of mental health, alcohol use disorder, methamphetamine use disorder and childhood trauma. Team Abby, representing mental health, won, with $47,215 pledged.
