Meredith reports strong 2011 results
Meredith Corp. reported that earnings per share increased 22 percent to $2.78 in the fiscal year ending June 30, compared with $2.28 in the prior year. Net earnings were $127.4 million compared with $103.96 million a year ago.
Total company revenues rose to $1.4 billion, and cash flow from operations grew 12 percent to $215 million. Fourth-quarter earnings per share dropped to 66 cents from 73 cents a year earlier, and net earnings were $30.3 million, down from $33.4 million.
