Meredith to operate Turner-owned station
Meredith Corp. will take over day-to-day operations for Atlanta-based Turner Broadcasting’s Peachtree TV, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Turner will retain ownership of Peachtree, but had looked to have another company take over the daily operations for more than a year. Meredith owns Atlanta’s CBS affiliate.
Peachtree broadcasts 45 Atlanta Braves baseball games, Southeastern Conference college football and basketball games as well as movies and syndicated programs.
