Mexico will impose a 20 percent tariff on U.S. pork imports in retaliation over the Trump administration’s steel and aluminum tariffs on Mexican exports, Reuters reports. The tariffs, which were announced by Mexican industry officials but not confirmed by government representatives, would apply to pork legs and shoulders from U.S. suppliers, accounting for about 90 percent of Mexico’s $1.07 billion annual imports.
