Greater Des Moines Partnership President Gene Meyer has been named Cy’s favorite alum by the Iowa State University athletics department. He will be recognized on Saturday on the field at Jack Trice Stadium at the first-quarter break during the Cyclones’ game against Kansas. Meyer began following the Cyclones in 1977 and has been a season ticket holder and Cyclone Club member for many years. This award recognizes his integration of Iowa State athletics into the Greater Des Moines community. The annual award honors outstanding support for ISU athletics.
