The board of directors of MidAmerican Energy Co. has declared the regular quarterly dividends on its seven series of preferred stock. Payable March 1, shareholders of record as of Feb. 7 will receive a regular quarterly dividend of 82.5 cents for the $3.30 series, 93.75 cents for the $3.75 series, 97.5 cents for the $3.90 series, $1.05 for the $4.20 series, $1.0875 for the $4.35 series, $1.10 for the $4.40 series, and $1.20 for the $4.80 series. MidAmerican Energy provides electric service to 725,000 customers and natural gas service to 707,000 customers in Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and South Dakota.
