More people flew out of Des Moines in September
Total passenger activity at Des Moines International Airport was up 2.29 percent in September compared with the same month in 2011, according to numbers released by the airport today.
A total of 82,469 passengers enplaned in Des Moines during the month, and a total of 80,785 deplaned. Activity was down by 5.3 percent from August, but for the first nine months of 2012, passenger activity has increased by 8.29 percent over the same period in 2011.
