The Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will host a public meeting to receive comments on an amendment to the Federal Fiscal Years 2011-2014 Transportation Improvement Program at 6 p.m. on April 19 at the Ankeny Public Library, 1210 Northwest Prairie Ridge Drive.

The city of Ankeny is requesting an amendment to modify the description of the Gay Lea Wilson Trail project. The project description will change from constructing a 3-mile, 12-foot wide multi-purpose trail to “From Southeast 54th Street south 1 mile then east 0.5 miles to Southeast Delaware Avenue.”
