The 2011 Natural Living Expo, billed as the state’s largest and longest-running exposition focusing on healthy and sustainable living, will be held April 2-3 at the Polk County Convention Complex. This year, participants can bring a bag of unwanted clothing to a new event, the Swap-O-Rama-Rama, to explore new uses for their old clothes while updating their wardrobes. For a $10 fee, the clothing is sorted and everyone is encouraged to choose new items. In addition to a clothing swap, the Swap-O-Rama-Rama will feature workshops exploring creative reuse and recycling of clothing.

Vendors at the free Natural Living Expo will feature green, healthful, organic, holistic, renewable and reusable goods and services. Expo hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 2 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 3.

Exhibitor categories include animal care, business and technology, community organizations, education, family, food and beverage, green building, health and wellness, home and garden, recreation and renewable energy.
