Jan Glendening of Pleasant Hill has been appointed Iowa state director of The Nature Conservancy.

Jan Glendening of Pleasant Hill has been appointed Iowa state director of The Nature Conservancy, succeeding Sean McMahon, who has been named director of North America agriculture for the organization. Glendening has been with the The Nature Conservancy since 2001 and coordinated the organziation’s first capital campaign, which raised $18 million by 2008. She has been an assistant state director and interim state director.
