New association formed to promote Iowa tourism

For decades, Iowa’s travel industry has been organized by regional associations, and statewide organizations have focused on specific niche market activities such as group sales, sports marketing and advocacy. As part of an industrywide plan in 2015, a goal was outlined to improve collaboration, partnerships and expertise among stakeholders, who have worked for several years to form the Iowa Travel Industry Partners association and foundation.
