There’s a new boutique in the Kaleidoscope at the Hub, and, as its name suggests, it’s offering a little bit of everything.

The multiple vendors at A Little Bit of Everything Boutiques sell a wide range of items, including women’s clothing, jewelry, handbags, shoes, scarves, handmade gifts and even artwork.

The 4,000- square-foot store opened on Oct. 18, with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 2.

The store, located across from the Friedrichs Coffee kiosk, is managed by Hubbell Retail Operations, a division of Hubbell Realty Co.

Krista Capp, vice president of property management for Hubbell Realty, said prices vary, but most items are quite affordable.

“I was just in there the other day and bought some really cute jewelry for about $15,” she said, adding that she’s also eyeing a piece of artwork that goes for a couple hundred dollars.

Capp said A Little Bit of Everything is selling items from 14 local vendors and is still accepting new vendors.

Currently the store is featuring items from Arm Candy, B & B Handmade Products, Bella Boutique, BJ Sitting Artwork, The Crazy Hat Lady, Dandy Designs, Fuss It Up! Designs, The Heart of Iowa Market Place, Lyla’s Boutique, Maggie’s Rose Garden and Jelly Bean Dreams, Mainstream Boutique, The Possibilities Room, Vision of Beauty, and What Women Want Boutique.

“It’s been such a success, we’re happy to help it grow,” Capp said.

Vendors must legally be allowed to sell their products and agree to a product line that Hubbell Realty picks out.

“We want to stay unique and diverse,” Capp said.

Capp said the idea came from similar stores in Kansas City and Sioux City, and vendors are responsible for paying rent and purchasing other supplies.

“It’s been an incredible success in its first month,” Capp said. “All of the activity and energy involved has been great.”

Store hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
