New interchange in Ankeny set to open
The city of Ankeny and Iowa Department of Transportation will have a Nov. 20 ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the completion of a $25.2 million interchange to Interstate 35 at Northeast 36th Street.
The project was designed to improve the roadway alignment of Interstate 35 and alleviate traffic congestion at the East First Street interchange. The interchange is scheduled to open shortly after the ceremony.
