New Southridge shops open
Southridge Mall Plaza Shops are now open, including rue21, Foot Locker and Kay Jewelers.
The mall will hold a ribbon cutting of the new-and-improved property on Nov. 10, that will include a performance by Des Moines native, singer and songwriter Jason Brown.
“Our redevelopment is setting the stage for an exciting new shopping experience at Southridge,” said Scott McMurray, lead developer for The Macerich Co., which owns and manages the mall.
