Newlin wins Iowa Corn lifetime achievement honor
Owen Newlin received the first Iowa Corn Lifetime Achievement Award on Saturday at the Iowa Corn Growers Association’s annual meeting.
Newlin is a retired senior vice president of Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc. The award is given in recognition of outstanding service and commitment to advance the corn industry. Newlin was instrumental in helping to establish the Iowa Corn Checkoff.
