NewLink to expand facility
NewLink Genetics Corp. in Ames is expanding its facility and will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on July 11 at its location in the Iowa State University Research Park.
Gov. Terry Branstad will speak at the event, along with Iowa Economic Development Authority Director Debbie Durham and NewLink CEO Charles Link. NewLink is a leader in the emerging cancer vaccine market, according to a release.
In November, the company had an initial public offering of stock.
