The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce’s new Elevate women’s group will host former U.S. Ambassador Mary Kramer on Sept. 8. Kramer will discuss her new book, “An Unlikely Ambassador and Her Diplomatic Daughter: Stories and Recipes for the Life You Want.” The book was co-authored by Kramer’s daughter, Krista Kramer Hartman.
