NIACC receives $300,000 National Science Foundation robotics grant

78 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and Culture, Innovation and EntrepreneurshipManufacturing students at North Iowa Area Community College have the opportunity to learn about industrial robots, thanks to a National Science Foundation grant, the Mason City Globe Gazette reported. The $300,000 Advanced Technological Education grant will be spread over three years and allow NIACC to test a new national credential in Robotics Fundamentals. The NSF grant will allow NIACC to double the number of graduates in two industrial systems programs, and introduce new robotics training to all students.
