The New Leaders Council (NLC) Des Moines Chapter honored the three Iowa recipients of the national NLC’s 40 Under 40 Leadership Awards at a reception Thursday at Dos Rios.

The three Iowa recipients were: Rosalyn Lehman, executive director of Iowa Rivers Revival; Zachary Mannheimer (Business Record 40-under-40 winner), executive director of the Des Moines Social Club; and Tyler Olson, a state representative.

The awards help recognize the hard work of a diverse group of young leaders: elected officials, inspiring community organizers, and non-profit and policy leaders who exemplify the spirit of progressive political entrepreneurship.
