NOTABLE TRANSACTIONS: Casey’s acquires 2 parcels in Des Moines-area suburbs

The convenience store, headquartered in Ankeny, paid David and Paula Sadler $902,000 for property at 885 88th St. in West Des Moines, Dallas County real estate records show. The 5.7-acre parcel is south of Interstate Highway 80 near the intersection of Ashworth Road and 88th Street. The property includes a one-story brick ranch house built in 1963. The property is valued at $569,570.
Casey’s also paid Snyder Development LLC $1.6 million for property at 601 S.W. Oralabor Road in Ankeny, records show. The 1.8-acre parcel is undeveloped.
Casey’s did not immediately respond to questions about its plans for the properties.
Both transactions were recorded Sept. 5.
Dallas County
Jonathan and Katie Clayberg paid John and Sharon Garvey just over $1 million for property at 25261 360th St. in Van Meter, Dallas County real estate records show. The 19-acre parcel includes a 2,395-square-foot house built in 1991. The transaction was recorded Sept. 2.
Jacob and Meredith Johnson paid Jaime Robles and Marianna Garcia $1.1 million for property at 15745 Meredith Drive in Urbandale, records show. The 1.9-acre parcel includes a 2,699-square-foot house built in 2019. The transaction was recorded Sept. 5.
Polk County
Asterisk Realty Inc., located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., paid 920 Morgan Street LLC $4.4 million for property at 920 Morgan St. in Des Moines, Polk County real estate records show. The 4.6-acre parcel includes a 72,000-square-foot one-story warehouse built in 1989. The property is valued at $3.8 million. The transaction was recorded Sept. 3.
801 Ashworth LLC, located in Des Moines, paid Greenspire Holdings LLC just over $1 million for property at 801 Ashworth Road in West Des Moines, records show. The nearly 1-acre parcel includes a 3,097-square-foot, two-story brick house that has been converted to offices. The structure was built in 1940. The property is valued at $435,000. The transaction was recorded Sept. 3.
