Cummins Inc., a Fortune 500 company whose headquarters is in Columbus, Ind., paid Franzen Altoona I 80 Partnership $1.35 million for property at 241 and 309 Adventureland Drive N.E. in Altoona, Polk County real estate records show. The nearly 7 acres are located south of Interstate Highway 80 and east of First Avenue North, near Interstate Power Systems, Marzetti Frozen Pasta and Central Trainer Services. Cummins designs, manufactures, sells and services diesel and alternative fuel engines. It has about 600 company-owned and independent distributor facilities and more than 7,200 dealers locations worldwide. The vacant Altoona ground Cummins purchased is valued at $8,820, records show.The transaction was recorded on Aug. 20.
GPG Properties LLC of Elkhart paid 6450 LLC $1.59 million for property at 6450 N.E. 14th St., records show. The 3.5 acres include a 16,740-square-foot warehouse constructed in 1997. The property is valued at $907,000. The transaction was recorded on Aug. 19.
Casey’s Marketing Inc. paid R&R Realty Group LLC $1.2 million for property at 4580 114th St. in Urbandale, records show. The 0.89 acre of vacant ground is valued at $60. The transaction was recorded on Aug. 18.
Rock Equity Holdings II LLC of Ankeny paid Knapp & Associates LC $650,000 for 5.8 acres at 142nd Street and Douglas Parkway, records show. The undeveloped property is valued at $5,720. The transaction was recorded on Aug. 17.
A West Des Moines-based investment group, IPE 1030 REV357 LLC, paid Sansgaard Group Inc. $5.7 million for property at 6900 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines, records show. The 2.7 acres include a 14,418-square-foot retail building occupied by Walgreens. The building was constructed in 2001. The property is valued at $2.65 million. The transaction was recorded on Aug. 17.
Anderson Four LLC, based in Urbandale paid Frank and Melba Scaglione $4 million for 92 acres of farmland located north of Interstate Highway 80 and west of Ute Avenue in Waukee, Dallas County real estate records show. The property is valued at $124,060. The transaction was recorded on Aug. 20.
Hy-Vee Inc. paid Burlington-based Waukee Crossing LLC $1.4 million for 1.62 acres at 105 Hickman Road in Waukee, records show. The property is valued at $2,680. The transaction was recorded on Aug. 18.
Nicholas and Brooke Jensen paid the John W. Grubb and Kimberly D. Grubb revocable trusts $2 million for property at 14926 and 14914 Brookview Drive, both in Urbandale, records show. The property at 14914 Brookview Drive includes a 3,466-square-foot house constructed on 1.2 acres in 2012. The property at 14926 Brookview Drive includes a 1,318-square-foot house constructed in 2014. The transaction was recorded on Aug. 17.
T C and B Corporate Wearables Inc. paid Perry Economic Development Inc. $825,000 for property at 510 Research Drive in Perry, records show. The property includes 5.2 acres and a 30,000-square-foot metal warehouse constructed in 2018. The transaction was recorded on Aug. 13.
