NOTBALE TRANSACTIONS: 2 parcels sold in Ankeny’s Corporate Woods Business Park

David and Kimberly Mercer and LLMC Ankeny IA LLC, based in Clive, paid Knapp Elwell LC $1.8 million for the parcels that are on the west side of Southeast Convenience Boulevard and north of Hampton Inn & Suites, records show.
The business park is adjacent to the Corporate Woods Drive interchange on Interstate Highway 35 and the Ankeny Regional Airport. About 25 of the park’s 6-plus acres is ready to be developed, according to information on Ankeny’s website.
The transaction was recorded on Oct. 13.

Homebuilder DR Horton Iowa LLC, located in Ankeny, paid Ridgedale Land Co. LLC just over $1 million for 12 residential building lots in Ridgedale Heights Plat 5, located west of Northwest 100th Street in Johnston, records show. The plat is the final phase of the Ridgedale Heights development by Solid Ground, a local development firm founded and managed by Eric Grub. The transaction was recorded Oct. 13.
Dallas County
Hope K Farms LLC, based in West Des Moines, paid Brenton Brothers Inc. $2.7 million for farmland just west of Dallas Center, Dallas County real estate records show. The transaction was recorded Oct. 17.
JNLN Land LLC, located in Adel, paid Brenton Brothers LLC $1.1 million for farmland north of 260th Street and west of Quinlan Avenue in Dallas County, records show. The transaction was recorded Oct. 15.
Reveiz LLC, based in Des Moines, paid George Robison Inc. just over $3 million for 119 acres of farm land between T and S avenues in Dallas County, records show. The transaction was recorded Oct. 15.
Steven and Tiffany Crile paid Benjamin and Michelle McCollum $1.6 million for property at 3815 NW 183rd St. in Clive, records show. The two-story, 3,033-square-foot house was built in 2024. The property includes an in-ground swimming pool and pool house. Benjamin McCollum is the Iowa Hawkeyes’ head men’s basketball coach. He previously was Drake University’s men’s basketball coach. The transaction was recorded Oct. 15.
