This is a tradition in Iowa. To prove it, the folks at the Statehouse assembled former first ladies Billie Ray, Chris Branstad an Christie Vilsack to pose for a photo with their personal dolls, along with Kevin Reynolds and his fancy facsimile.
“I’m honored to be the first gentleman to join this unique collection,” Kevin Reynolds at the Dec. 20 unveiling.
