In the video, set to the country music artist Walker Hayes song “Fancy Like,” employees of Nationwide and their families show off their moves to promote volunteering at the Food Bank of Iowa and efforts to fight food insecurity. Brad Liggett, president of Nationwide Agribusiness, opens the video asking people to consider volunteering at the food bank and for companies to take their teams to help out at the food bank. Liggett says that one of the largest gifts of the Nationwide Foundation a couple of years ago was to redo the food bank’s volunteer center. “It’s a really cool, fancy new volunteer center,” says Liggett, who also sits on the Food Bank of Iowa’s board of directors. How fancy is it? If the Nationwide employees’ dance moves are any indication, it’s pretty fancy, like Applebees on a date night.
