According to this story from Business Insider, the cost of a vacation is soaring as airlines and hotels are hiking their prices ahead of the summer travel season. Airfares for international travel are up 17% since April, while the cost of domestic flights is up 9%. Hotel rates are up from a year ago, and if you want to travel by car, you’ve already seen the jump in gas prices, which have hit their highest level in seven years.
