ChildServe’s CEO, Dr. Teri Wahlig, shared a story with me about how she “really took one for the team” recently during a fundraising event for ChildServe. For the past several years she has volunteered to sit in the dunk tank during ChildServe’s Run, Walk & Fun 4 the Kids festival. While occupying the tank earlier this month, she slipped and broke her arm. Ironically, Wahlig recalled how not long before that event she had been chatting with Principal CEO Dan Houston. The two had joked about how hard she had been running lately, and Houston made a comment to the effect: “Well, you haven’t broken anything yet, have you?”
