142 wordsBusiness Record Insider, The Insider NotebookPerhaps Iowa will be seeing a bit more of the new Wells Fargo & Co. CEO, Tim Sloan. Sloan was in town on Nov. 10, and while addressing the crowd at the opening of the new Wells Fargo museum, he shared that he had an interesting tie to Iowa. His son and daughter in-law live in the Central Iowa area, and his son works at an ag-related startup in Ames. Gov. Terry Branstad, never one to miss a recruiting opportunity, joked during his remarks at the event about pitching Sloan to move the Wells Fargo corporate headquarters from California to Iowa so he could be closer to his grandkids.
