Orchard Place CEO to retire

Starr began her career with Orchard Place as a therapist in 1989 and became CEO in March 2013. According to a news release, she has guided the organization through significant transformation, strengthening its financial foundation, clinical quality and statewide reach. The board of directors will immediately initiate a search for her replacement, with interim leadership provided by Dr. Stephen Mandler, Maria Medici and Kari Zimmerman, who will oversee clinical, financial and program operations, respectively, throughout the transition. After her retirement, Starr plans to relocate to Omaha to be closer to family. “Anne’s leadership has been instrumental in positioning Orchard Place as a leading voice in children’s mental health,” John Danos, president of the Orchard Place board of directors, said in the release.
