After 23 years, the original Legends American Sports Bar and Grill at 5906 Ashworth Road in West Des Moines has closed its doors permanently.

Des Moines Register: After 23 years, the original Legends American Sports Bar and Grill at 5906 Ashworth Road in West Des Moines has closed its doors permanently. A sign on the door says the restaurant closed Sunday. Legends last year closed its locations in Pleasant Hill and on Court Avenue in Des Moines. Two others remain open, in Johnston and on 50th Street in West Des Moines.
