To highlight career opportunities in the manufacturing industry, the National Association of Manufacturers and the Manufacturing Institute, the workforce development and education partner of the NAM, are bringing the industry’s Creators Wanted campaign to the Vermeer Global Pavilion Arena in Pella today through Wednesday. The immersive experience aims to inspire job seekers, students, parents and teachers with the possibilities of a rewarding career in modern manufacturing, while providing them with the resources to take the first step to becoming a future creator. In addition to the unique mobile immersive experience, Vermeer and Pella Corp. will have a number of fun and engaging exhibits, including: a baseball throwing game where attendees try to break an unbreakable window; interactive building stations; hands-on machines to operate; a welding simulator; 3D printers; and giveaway stations. To register for open tour times, parents and students can use this registration link to pick a time to explore Creators Wanted.
